The Fallas is a traditional celebration held in commemoration of San José (Saint Joseph) in the Valencian Community. Calpe, also known as “Little Gibraltar” for its prominent rock, the “Peñon de Ifach” that protects the port is the destination for this lovely boat trip. Famous for its fish restaurants and endless white sandy beaches, Calpe is the perfect place to spend a few hours away from Benidorm.
If you’re new to scuba diving, you can enjoy a beginner’s dive either on the Benidorm Island (from a boat) or from the Malpás beach. If you have your diving licence already then enjoy a 30-minute dive at the island.
